GCA has successfully increased NOI by 116% during the last two years despite a challenging economic climate. By staying true to our motto of “Taking Care of the Way People Live” we have increased our guest satisfaction results and have won several prestigious awards. Our participation within CHPA has allowed us to build and leverage relationships with our peers and our vendors resulting in fostering true partnerships. GCA lives our mission every day through our associates’ commitment to providing high levels of service, supporting those less fortunate through community service projects, and commitment to sustainable living with our green initiatives.
Express Furniture Rental has made a purposeful decision to focus its resources and energies solely on the temporary housing industry. We desire to contribute in a meaningful and valuable way to the continued maturation of the industry on the whole.
We do this every day by providing professional, yet simple and affordable service, support, and solutions. We will continue to help in the goal of increasing the industry’s image as one that is dynamic, considerate, and comfortable. One unit at a time.

Samantha Elliott deserves the prestigious honor of Individual Member of the Year because of her continued commitment to the success of her company, CHPA, and the corporate housing industry as a whole. Her level of dedication is evident through her day-to-day management at PCH which has continuously led to financial growth, her unending support and time she offers to CHPA and its various committees, and through her successful collaboration with other corporate housing providers and suppliers to help expand our industry. She truly deserves to be recognized by her peers for her continued support and commitment to CHPA.
At Nomad, we believe we are approaching the traditional temporary housing model in a new and different way through aggregating the existing supply of housing as well as selling and marketing our unique model in a distinctive and innovative manner.
BridgeStreet’s venture into utilizing third party merchant models has proven to be extremely successful in not only driving incremental revenue but introducing the concept of corporate housing as a hotel alternative to a wider consumer audience. Using the right mix of direct and indirect online distribution channels resulted in a marketing campaign with a 140% ROI and minimal direct costs upfront. BridgeStreet continues to raise awareness of corporate housing within the wider hospitality segment while promoting its own brand.
At BridgeStreet, we take our commitment to the environment seriously and conduct our business in ways that demonstrate good stewardship of our world’s natural resources. BridgeStreet’s SimplyGreenSM program puts sustainable business practices front and center throughout our organization and we measure the impact of our associates, offices, fleet and apartments. We have adopted unique solutions such as uniforms made of recycled materials and purchasing furniture made of recyclable and renewable resources. We are creating a Green Fleet to significantly reduce our carbon footprint. Through these actions and other simple steps, we will achieve our CO2 emission reduction goals of 15%.
Throughout the year people in need received hot meals, coats, blankets, shoes, fans, handbags, household goods, and funds all through the collaboration of our employees working with charities. By serving as an example of corporate giving, CWS has inspired other companies to join the BRIDGE program. This year CWS succeeded in our mission, “inspired people creating extraordinary experiences” and for that reason we feel we should humbly accept the award for Best Community/Philanthropic program for our work with BRIDGE.
It is very flattering that someone nominated me for this award, however there are many that are probably deserving. As a company we have supported CHPA unconditionally and will so for the foreseeable future. We have donated what is now probably hundreds of hours to the association, but the "award" is seeing the association improve each year. If we win I would be honored to except this on behalf of HCSN and my entire staff.
