Message
from the President
Welcome
to the CHPA web site, the best on-line source for information
in the Corporate Housing industry. There is a lot of
information available to you -- all at your fingertips! The
CHPA web site is aimed at making your job easier and allowing you
to do more with your time. From registering for events online
to searching the site for information that is important to you,
we hope you will use the web site as a resource and tool to help
you manage your business and become more efficient. As one
of CHPA's goals, we would like to continue to "go green" so the
more we can utilize the web site the better it is for the environment. There
are a few new areas of the web site that I would like
to point out.
In
the member resources section, you can update your contact information
and search the directory, retrieve your username and password, post
a job, search for corporate housing, and complete other tasks.
Please keep your contact information current, so when the directory
is searched, the most accurate information is available.
We are continuing to add benefits to the members-only section of
the web site. Be sure to check back often for new resources and
use the web site for a variety of items.
The
CHPA Discussion Board is up and running with many members
already taking advantage of it. We would like to see more
people use this discussion board as a way to connect with other
members. It is an excellent way to learn how to be more effective
and improve your business. If you have a question or
a problem that you would like to see addressed, just post it
on the discussion board. You could receive multiple solutions
or help some one else in the industry. This is an informal
way to discuss the issues in the industry at your leisure.
We encourage all members to register and actively participate.
The Discussion
Board is only as good as the members who use it.
A
new section has been added to the website devoted to the Canada
Chapter. We have already seen great interest from members
of the Canada Chapter and by adding this section to the
web site, it will allow the entire membership to keep current on
the Chapter's activities and the Chapter's Board of Directors.
In the coming year, you will find this section updated on a regular
basis.
The
web site is constantly changing and evolving to be more useful
and efficient. In the coming year, CHPA will continue to update
the site. If there is something that you would like to
see on the web site, please feel free to let me know.
