Terry
Rodgers has acquired her unique Canadian perspective on the
corporate housing industry working in her native city of Vancouver,
BC for over 25 years. Prior to opening HighStreet Corporate
Rentals in 2002, she owned and operated Executive Accommodations
from 1985 – 2002 and before that, she was the GSM for GranTree
Furniture Rental in the Greater Vancouver area for more than
3 years. As a pioneer in the industry, Rodgers has guided
her companies through the hazards of shifting the primary
source of unit inventory from high-risk apartment rental commitments
to privately owned condominium units since the early ‘90's.
This small business operator comes at the corporate housing
business from the perspective of hospitality management.
In the hot real estate market of Vancouver, BC, HighStreet
tenants and operates over $52M worth of condominium properties
very profitably for the real estate investors who own the
suites. At
HighStreet, Rodgers spent the first three years building infrastructure
to support planned growth and the last two years have seen
the company double in size as the power and effectiveness
of the small but dynamic executive team took hold.
