INDIANAPOLIS, IN – March 14, 2011 – CHPA is pleased to announce Kimberly Smith, CCHP, of AvenueWest Corporate Housing, AvenueWest Global Franchise and Corporate Housing By Owner as the new President of CHPA.  Smith took office on March 1, 2011 and will serve a one-year term as President. Smith has been a member of CHPA since 1999 and an active member of the CHPA Board of Directors for over three years.

Smith is a role model in her community. She volunteers for The Women’s College at the University of Denver (DU). She was named one of “Colorado’s Top 25 Most Influential Young Professionals” by ColoradoBiz Magazine and an “Outstanding Woman in Business” finalist by the Denver Business Journal. Her company, AvenueWest Corporate Housing, received the Corporate Housing Provider of the Year Award by CHPA in 2010 and has been featured for 3 years in a row on the Inc. 5000 fastest growing companies while Corporate Housing by Owner has been featured in leading publications, such as The New York Times, USA Today and Forbes.com.
