INDIANAPOLIS, IN – March 1, 2013 – Piper Ayala, CCHP, ExecuStay Midwest has been named Chairman of the Board of the Corporate Housing Providers Association (CHPA), the leading organization dedicated to the corporate housing industry. Ayala has served on the Board of Directors since 2010 and previously held the position of secretary/treasurer for two years prior to being named Chairman of the Board.
“Piper brings a significant amount of industry knowledge to the Chairman’s seat,” says Mary Ann Passi, CAE, CHPA CEO. “Her experience on the Executive Committee as the secretary/treasurer has prepared her to lead the Association.”
Ayala has been in the corporate housing industry for over twenty years. She’s held a variety of positions and is currently the Vice President of ExecuStay Midwest. Ayala has been instrumental in helping ExecuStay Midwest grow from one office in Wichita, Kansas to ten offices throughout the Midwest.
“Her success at growing ExecuStay Midwest is a good indication that she will bring the same charisma and energy to the position of CHPA Chair,” says Passi. “She brings her unique perspective and knowledge of small business concerns and challenges, along with insight into larger companies, to her new role.”
Ayala has been an active CHPA member since the organization’s inception, as well participating in other organizations supporting the corporate housing industry. She has contributed resources, time and leadership to CHPA over the years. She earned the Association’s designation, the Certified Corporate Housing Professional (CCHP), the first year it was available in 2007.
“Piper’s contributions to CHPA at all levels, from task force leader to Board Chair, shows her dedication to CHPA’s mission and vision of making corporate housing the lodging solution of choice,” explains Passi. “She is a respected leader in the industry and the Association for her professionalism and expertise.”
