A 2017 study by the Korn Ferry Institute found that only 6% of Fortune 500 companies are led by female CEOs. Funded by the Rockefeller Foundation, this study set a goal of 100 women leading Fortune 500 companies by 2025. This study identified there was no single path to the top and only 12% of those leading knew they wanted to be a CEO; many did not consider becoming a CEO until someone encouraged them to do so. Join this dynamic panel of female industry CEOs as they share what drove them to corporate leadership, how and if mentors played a role and what they found to be their greatest challenges and successes.
