In late 2017, CHPA sent a survey to all member companies asking for input about our February 2019 Annual Conference, scheduled for Puerto Rico. CHPA leaders asked for member feedback on whether the recent hurricane in Puerto Rico would affect attendance and if the conference location should change. Thank you to all who participated in the survey; responses were extremely thoughtful and helpful as leadership weighed all options.
Overwhelmingly, 75% of respondents indicated that they will attend the 2019 conference. With this feedback in mind, CHPA leaders continue their due diligence to minimize risk for this event. As part of this due diligence, the CHPA executive committee will meet at the Sheraton Puerto Rico in late January to see the venue and surrounding areas first-hand to ensure our attendees will have the best possible experience.
