SuiteAmerica, a leader in furnished housing and technology announced the promotion of Kelsey Thompson to executive vice president (EVP) of strategic alliances today. The move underscores the company’s shift from ‘legacy operator’ to ‘industry infrastructure provider, leaning on Thompson’s experience and expertise to scale the company’s million proprietary technology ecosystem.

“Kelsey is a connector — one that is both strategic and analytical — making her the perfect person to unify our data, technology and partners around a shared vision of growth and infrastructure,” said James E. Masten, CEO. “Her appointment is a critical step forward in our mission to solve the industry’s fragmentation problem by offering the same infrastructure that has powered our own operation. As we deploy our suite of API-driven technology, Kelsey’s ability to streamline processes and mentor high-performing teams will help us scale thoughtfully and ensure a rapid and seamless onboarding for our partners.”

Thompson, previously Senior Vice President (SVP) of Business Development and Strategic Alliances, will now govern the integration of SuiteAlliance with SuiteAmerica’s network of over 160 partners, ensuring a seamless onboarding and integration into a technology stack refined through eight years of production use. Her focus will be on delivering the operational efficiencies to SuiteAmerica’s global partners and clients.

“I believe SuiteAmerica is uniquely positioned to connect the corporate housing and global serviced accommodation industry, and I’m thrilled to lead a team that has spent a decade and over $10 million building the infrastructure the industry actually needs,” Thompson said. “Everything we do is done with intention and transparency to better serve the partnership ecosystem as it shifts to meet the changing expectations of today’s modern traveler.”

The SuiteAlliance ecosystem, a proprietary partner collaboration network— is designed to provide the corporate housing industry with unmatched speed, transparency, and data integrity. By unifying technology with supply chain operations all founded upon strategic alliances, Thompson aims to solve the industry-wide challenge of fragmented inventory sourcing, creating a seamless path.

“Kelsey’s role is critical to our ability to not only serve the extended-stay guest but help our partners better serve the global needs of their client base,” said Robin Masten, president. “Her appointment serves as a cornerstone to SuiteAmerica’s four-pillar strategic vision: formal international entry, enterprise-level execution, the alignment of ecosystems through proprietary technology, and the aggregation of industry-defining personnel leadership.”

Thompson brings 15 years of experience in sales development and operations to the position, with a career-long focus on improving organizational efficiency through data integrity. Before joining SuiteAmerica in 2023, she held leadership roles at Churchill Living and BridgeStreet Global Hospitality, where she specialized in sales operations and development.

A recognized authority in the sector, Thompson currently serves as Chair of the CHPA Connect 2026 conference. She was also a key member of the task force responsible for developing the new Certified Corporate Housing Professional (CCHP) examination, reinforcing SuiteAmerica’s commitment to industry-leading professional standards.
