SASKATOON, December 28, 2022 — John Decoste has joined the OBASA Group as Director of Sales and Business Development for the MyKey Global Accommodations and OBASA Six Three Suites business units. John is an industry veteran and has an extensive background in tourism, hospitality, and insurance. In addition, he has years of operational experience with Marriott, Hyatt, Wyndham, and Radisson. Over his 20+ years in the industry, he has developed a professional passion for corporate housing and temporary accommodations. Currently residing in British Columbia, Decoste has worked in both Canada and the United States.
Supporting his professional life, Mr. Decoste’s personal foundation is his wife of 22 years (Stephanie) and his two children, Maxim 11 and Zoe 8. He enjoys snowboarding, nature and particularly hockey as both a player and a coach. According to Decoste, “What I particularly enjoy about hockey is that it is a lot like sales. It is a collective team effort to achieve success.”
