Homeport Stays, a Boston-based corporate housing company, celebrates 5 years in business in 2023. With this exciting milestone, the company has expanded its core inventory portfolio and welcomed new staff members to support its growth.
Kate Skelly, Founder & CEO of Homeport, shares her enthusiasm:

Homeport Stays currently serves the New England market including Massachusetts, Connecticut, New Hampshire and Rhode Island. Through the trust and organic referrals of their client base, the company has also expanded to serve the U.S. on a national level, with notable pockets of inventory on the west coast and many locations in between.
To bolster its growth and expansion effort, Homeport is thrilled to welcome new staff, supporting operations and business development. The new team members join Homeport’s existing seasoned and high-caliber team that provides “boots on the ground” in its core markets.
Homeport has welcomed Operations Specialist Mike Lipari, bringing his management and training experience after working with an MIT-grown startup in Boston. The company also welcomed corporate housing veteran Derek Costa, who formerly led the corporate housing
division for a prominent, nationwide property management company (Windsor Communities). “I am so incredibly proud of our team and their achievements. We all support each other, have amazing camaraderie, and put our customers first, always,” says Kate.
Additionally, Homeport continues to successfully maintain its Woman-Owned Business Enterprise certification through WBENC.
Homeport Stays was launched in 2018 by Kate Skelly, after a 20+ year career in corporate HR and Global Mobility. Having personally experienced the various challenges and pain points of corporate housing while leading the Global Mobility program for a large Boston-based tech company, Kate and team provide creative solutions and high-touch service to enhance their customers’ corporate housing experience.
