Larkstead Readiness Group Joins CHPA and Will Exhibit at Connect27
Larkstead Readiness Group, publisher of The Larkstead Standard™, a readiness standard for corporate housing units, has joined the Corporate Housing Providers Association as an Associate Partner. The company will exhibit at CHPA’s Connect27, February 1 through 3 at the Caribe Royale Orlando, in booth 405.
Larkstead was founded by Sylvia Hines, who spent 24 years on both sides of a corporate housing door. She founded Master Suites in Central California in 2001 and ran it until 2025, housing her own corporate clients and, as a third-party vendor, readying units for other providers. Many CHPA members know her from that work. Fewer know that she spent those years doing the part nobody wrote down. Larkstead is where she writes it down: the Standard that defines it, the Playbook that teaches it, and the software that runs it. The company does not deliver services. It names, teaches, and equips the discipline of property readiness: taking a unit from vacant to verified, room by room, before the occupant arrives.
Providers have built strong systems for sales, inventory, and the stay itself. The work between one departure and the next arrival, the turn, the inspection, the provisioning, has mostly lived in the heads of a few experienced people and a handful of trusted vendors. As providers grow faster than their teams, more of that work moves to independent operators, and the handoff is where a unit fails. Larkstead exists to make that work explicit.
“More units are being readied by outside teams and independent operators than by a provider’s own staff, and that is not going to reverse,” Hines said. “Providers have long had standards for the company and for the professional. Larkstead adds one for the unit itself. Clean, functional, provisioned, presented, verified, in that order, and confirmed in writing. That is the whole idea, and it is the part of this business that has never been written down.”
WHAT LARKSTEAD PUBLISHES

THE SOFTWARE THAT RUNS THE STANDARD
Two subscription products from the same founder put the Standard to work. SuitePulse (suitepulse.io) is management software for corporate housing providers; ahead of general release, Larkstead is choosing three Founding Providers to run the platform and shape it. TurnPulse (turnpulse.io) is operations software for the independent service operators who do the turns, inspections, cleans, and the invoicing that follows; it is opening to early subscribers ahead of Connect 2027. Each is sold on its own and each stands on its own.
