London, UK, February 21, 2022 — Today, Synergy Global Housing (Synergy), a leader in serviced accommodation programme management, announced the opening of its newest London property, Synergy The Strand. Located at Bell Yard, Westminster WC2A directly across from Royal Courts of Justice, Synergy The Strand comprises a mix of 12 one-, two- and three-bedroom contemporary apartments, all of which are entirely plastic-free and environmentally conscious.
“These apartments deliver an inspired guest experience that matches the ethos of our sustainability initiatives, all the while offering our clients bespoke offerings in the heart of one of London’s most desirable districts”, said Stephen Hanton, President International.
The new offering comes as Synergy continues to evolve its sustainability policies, which have inspired the removal of single-use plastics and micro-bead toiletries from Synergy’s owned apartment buildings. Guests of Synergy The Strand are provided with plastic-free and vegan alternatives to traditional toiletries, both locally sourced and handmade. These initiatives align to create a more sustainable living experience that better matches guest, client and company values.
“With Synergy The Strand, it’s all about providing our clients and guests with a sustainable living experience optimised for the business traveller looking to live like a Londoner”, said Claire Barrie, VP of Sales, EMEA & APAC. “Not only is the guest experience environmentally conscious, but it also incorporates yoga mats, exercise balls and ergonomic workspaces to ensure guest health, comfort and productivity are sustained while working from the apartment—a little something we call “sustainable sanity”.

The opening of Synergy The Strand adds to Synergy’s rapidly growing portfolio of properties across the UK and Ireland and follows Synergy recently announced plans to ramp up its hybrid accommodation presence through property acquisition and partnership development. Nigel Carter, Director of Development EMEA, joined Synergy in November to spearhead the project and drive the growth of innovative and strategic alliances to ensure Synergy remains agile in meeting the needs of its global client base as travel ramps up back to pre-pandemic levels.
