Expanding its presence as the local leader in temporary housing, VIP
Corporate Housing and MetroLofts signed a partnership agreement on July 1 to add all 45 of MetroLofts’ furnished housing apartments to VIP’s housing portfolio. The apartments were currently being managed by MetroLofts, but through this new agreement, VIP will administer all aspects of these properties while being able to offer this sought after property to their customers.
“MetroLofts is one of the premier apartments in the St. Louis region and is located with close proximity to major hospitals and campuses,” said Jim Lich, President of VIP Corporate Housing. “We are excited to add these 45 apartments to our management portfolio. Current and future tenants will benefit from VIP Corporate Housing’s current lineup of services and will be able to add our a la carte services such as housekeeping, additional furniture packages, and newer technology now that VIP is managing these properties.”
Located in the Central West End, MetroLofts is in a desirable area for temporary housing because of its proximity to Barnes and Children’s Hospitals, St. Louis University, Washington University and businesses from Downtown to Clayton.
“Expanding our current inventory by 45 apartments will allow us to offer more options to our temporary and corporate housing clients. We have continued to grow in the past few years, including updating inventory in other Midwestern cities. The MetroLofts partnership is solidifying our position as one of the top corporate and temporary housing companies in the Midwest. We are excited to add this property to our portfolio and happy to forge this important partnership with MetroLofts,” said Lich.
All current MetroLoft tenants residing in the furnished apartments will continue under their current lease terms and conditions. VIP Corporate Housing will have a full time staff member on site at MetroLofts during business hours during the month of July to answer any questions tenants may have during the transitional period. MetroLofts will continue to manage the remainder of the traditional lease apartments in the 213 unit complex.
